Ball of Whacks - Intro

This rather strange object is sold as an inspirational toy called the 'ball of whacks'. I plan to take a few pictures of it over the next weeks to display it's surprising versatility and to practise my own photo composition.Technically when assembled like this the shape is a regular rhombic triacontahedron. This means it has 30 identical rhombic sides; each of these sides is a magnetised piece that looks like this (obviously rhombic side down)


and is called a Whack (by its creators not by anyone else) and thus ball of whacks for the whole thing
